Easy Vegan Mushroom Gravy
This gravy is creamy, rich and delicious. It's made with just a few ingredients and is so easy to make. Pour this gravy over mashed potatoes, savory toast, roasted tofu and more.

4 Cups Cremini Mushrooms cored & thinly sliced ¾ Cup Yellow Onion diced 4 Tbsp Vegan Butter ¼ Cup White Flour 3 Cups Vegetable Broth Salt Pepper
Heat a skillet over medium high heat
Add butter to pan
Once butter has liquified add onions and mushrooms
Season with salt and pepper and sautee until soft about 8 minute, being careful not to let the butter burn
Sprinkle vegetables with the flour and saute until the flour has soaked up all the butter and the mixture is a paste-like texture
Slowly add the broth to the pan stirring as you add
Bring the gravy to a low simmer and cook, stirring frequently, until the gravy is thick about 15 minutes
Taste and add salt and pepper if needed
